Behind it sits a small llama farm (not part of the lodge). The Kandertal offers a wide range of landscapes, from glacier areas to forested paths and open valley views. Highlights include Oeschinensee, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful mountain lakes, and the nearby Thunersee, perfect for swimming or day trips. These varied environments make it an ideal region for scenic and accessible hiking. FOOD Homemade whole-food vegetarian dinners and breakfasts (vegan option available).
